MORRIS TOWNSHIP, NJ — A man was struck and killed by a New Jersey Transit Train early Friday morning, transit officials said.

The man was stuck outside of the Convent Station in Morris Township around 2:15 a.m., New Jersey Transit spokesman Jim Smith said. There were no injuries to the 20 people on board.

The train has departed from New York just before 1 a.m. and was expected into Dover by 2:30 a.m. Everyone on the train exited at Convent Station and found other ways home.

Because this was the last train out of New York, there were no delays to service.
