Meet Me In Morristown Makes A Return This Summer
The event that transforms the downtown into an artistic hotbed will return once again in late July and August.
MORRISTOWN, NJ — With summer in full swing, Morristown residents are eager to get out and enjoy the fair-weather festivals and community events.
Meet Me in Morristown, a summer event promoting arts and culture as well as the downtown economy, will take place in Morristown on the third Thursday of each month beginning on July 20 and ending on Aug. 17.
The event — run by the Morristown Partnership and Morris Arts — turns Morristown into an artistic hotbed. The streets will transform as artists showcase their work and musicians perform.

Many Morristown businesses will also operate sidewalk sales and demonstrations.
"Thanks to the combined efforts of the Morristown Partnership and Morris Arts, industry and art will once again come together to create Meet Me in Morristown, a summer event that promotes art and culture, as well as the downtown economy," the Morristown Partnership said.

Morristown business sidewalk sales will be held throughout the town from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., with entertainment and artists performing from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The street festival will be held on West Park Place, near the Morristown Green, for the July date.
However, in August, it will be located on South Street, Miller Road, and Elm Street, near the Vail Mansion.

The rain date for both months is set for the following Friday of each event. Announcements will be made by noon of the scheduled day.
