Missing NJ Couple Spotted In Newark, Police Says

NEW JERSEY — Potential sightings of two New Jersey women who have been missing for more than two weeks, have been reported by the Morristown Police Department.

Destiny Owens, 29, of East Orange and Imani Glover, 25, of Morristown, have both been reported missing by their families.

According to the Morristown Police Department, there have been alleged multiple sightings of both Glover and Owens together in and around the area of Penn Station, in Newark.

The most recent sighting was on Jan. 15, police said.

Owens has been missing since Dec. 24, according to East Orange police, and was last seen wearing a white coat with a dark color hat, a gray hooded sweatshirt, light-colored sweatpants and sneakers.

Owens is described as 5-foot-6, about 130 pounds, with long braids and brown eyes, according to Connie Jackson, the East Orange Public Information Officer.

Morristown police said on Jan. 17, the East Orange Police Department advised them that Owens had been reported missing from the H.E.L.P Center homeless shelter located at 224 Sussex Avenue, in Newark.

Glover was last officially seen on Jan. 4 at Jimmy Jazz, a shoe store on West 125th Street in Manhattan, on Jan. 4 and was reported missing to Morristown police four days later.

Glover is 5-foot-3 and weighs about 160 pounds, and she has the word "Shanita" tattooed on her left wrist, according to Newark police.

"The search for Glover and Owens remains ongoing at this time," Morristown Police Lt. Keith Cregan said.
