Morris County's Teacher Of The Year Is...

NJEA announces best of the best from each county in the Garden State.

DENVILLE, N.J. – Scott Malagold is representing his home county well this month.

The Randolph Township native and social studies teacher at Denville’s Morris County School of Technology has been named by the New Jersey Education Association as one of its 21 county teachers of the year for 2016-17.

Malagold teaches Law & Public Safety, U.S. History Honors, and Civil & Criminal Law at the vocational school.

“NJEA is proud to join with students, school employees, parents, and others in congratulating the 2016-17 New Jersey County Teachers of the Year,” the organization said in a statement. “They are an impressive group of educators; we applaud their achievements inside and outside the classroom and we thank them for making their careers in public education.”
