Morris Schools Decide How To Use Unused Snow Days

Spring break to be extended, more days coming.

MORRISTOWN, N.J. – Thanks to a lackluster winter, the Morris School District has a good problem on its hands.

The board of education needs to figure out how to take off four days from the school calendar that were never used as inclement weather days. The district allocated five days for weather use and only needed one in 2015-16.

On Monday, the board of education voted to extend Spring Break to Monday, March 28, leaving three more days to be added to the calendar.
