Morris Students Learn About Monster Jam Trucks

Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam Crew Member, Jon Zimmer of Captain’s Curse (L), and Monster Jam announcer, Scott Douglas (R), check out a customized crush car unveiled by automotive students at Morris County School of Technology in Denville on June 12.

The visit was in celebration of the Monster Jam PATH OF DESTRUCTION tour stop taking place at MetLife Stadium on Saturday, June 15. One of only two VoTech schools in the state selected to participate in the project, the students transformed the crush car from a piece of junk into a work of art and school pride that will be on display during Monster Jam PATH OF DESTRUCTION’s pre-event Pit Party from 1:30 p.m. - 5:30 pm.

Students also learned about Monster Jam truck technology from Jon Zimmer, who highlighted Captain’s Curse’s hi-tech truck features.
