Several witnesses said he pulled out a fake badge when approached, according to police.

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — A Morris County man is facing charges after impersonating a police officer and recording girls in a Denville Starbucks, according to police.

Roger H. Walker, 57, of Rockaway, was recently issued a summons stemming from a harassment incident in November.

According to police, Walker was inside the Starbucks on West Main Street just after 10:30 a.m. when he began taking photos and videos of underage girls also in the store.

Several witnesses heard him tell the girls he was a police officer, and saw him flash a phony badge, authorities said. Police arrived at the scene, and Walker was charged with harassment and impersonating a law enforcement officer.

Walker’s name is listed as a co-owner and head coach of CAVU Trampoline & Tumbling, a gymnastic gym in Mountain Lakes.

Walker told NJ.com that the allegations are “wildly untrue.” The alleged flashing of a phony police badge was not mentioned by Walker in the report.

Patch has reached out to both Walker and CAVU, and has not yet received a response.

Walker is scheduled for a pre-indictment conference on Feb. 9 and is represented by Joseph Scura, according to court records.
