Unlicensed Limo Driver From Morristown Drove Fugitive Client: Cops
An investigation into an unlicensed limo service found a client to have an active warrant for his arrest, cops say.
MORRISTOWN, NJ — A Morristown man was arrested recently for operating a limousine service without the proper licensing, according to police.
On Dec. 11, Ernesto Garcia, 69, was charged in Hanover for driving a limo without a license.
Police observed him picking up customers outside of a Walmart, and when they pulled him over, discovered he was unlicensed to do so.

Garcia was served three “limo-related offenses,” issued a summons, and released.
It was during the investigation that authorities found one of Garcia’s passengers, Ceferino Lopez, 32, also of Morristown, had an active criminal warrant for his arrest.

Lopez was wanted by the Morristown Municipal Court for a simple assault warrant of $1,000, police said.
He was taken into custody, posted the $1,000 bail, and issued a new court date.
