MORRISTOWN, NJ — No injuries were reported following a morning house fire in Morristown, officials said.

The fire at the Hillairy Avenue residence was quickly brought under control by members of the Morristown Fire Bureau and the Morristown FMBA on Tuesday afternoon, limiting damage, officials said.

"Outstanding work by 'Morristown's Bravest,' under the command of Captain Phil Barter, in quickly knocking down an early morning house fire on Hillairy Avenue," Director of Public Safety Michael C. Corcoran, Jr. said.
