'Parenting The New Teen': Presentation At Morristown High School

The event will go over modern teenage years and how to parent through them.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Parents have a chance to learn about raising teens in today's world in January, as Dr. John Duffy, a psychologist and parenting expert, is holding an event at the high school.

"Being a teenager in today's world bears only a faint resemblance to our experiences a generation ago," the flyer for the event, posted by the Morris School District, says.

The event is at 7 p.m. on Jan. 29 at the Morristown High School Auditorium. It will include a presentation, question-and-answer section and a book sale and signing.

"With clarity, compassion and humor, Dr. Duffy will provide a deep understanding into our children's world, as well as the tools to help navigate through the tumultuous teenage years," the flyer says.

According to the flyer, Duffy is a clinical psychologist, parenting and relationship expert, speaker and author who has appeared on Today, NPR, the Huffington Post, the Wall Street Journal, the Chicago Tribune, the Washington Post and more.
