Power Restored To All Customers In Morris County
The outages were affecting homes in Morristown and Parsippany, according to Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L).
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — Approximately 328 people in Morristown and Parsippany were without power Tuesday morning, according to authorities.
According to a statement from the area's electric provider, Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L), power has been officially restored to all affected customers.
In Morristown, 149 customers were without power due to a broken crossarm, JCP&L spokesperson Chris Hoenig said. A power outage in Parsippany impacted 179 customers, according to JCP&L officials. According to Hoenig, the outage was caused by a squirrel on a spacer cable.
