Taste of Morristown Returns After Two-Year Pandemic Pause

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Food lovers, rejoice. The 19th annual ‘A Taste of Morristown’ charity fundraiser is coming back to town after a two-year pandemic pause.

The anticipated community event allows local residents to sample dishes and desserts from award-winning Morristown area restaurants, as well as enjoy musical entertainment, all while supporting a worthy cause.

A Taste of Morristown is a charity event hosted by the Rotary Club of Morristown. The event will take place on Monday, Mar. 6, 2023, at the Westin Governor Morris Hotel in Morristown.

More than 35 Morristown area restaurants will be featured, as well as a wine and spirit tasting sponsored by Gary's Wine and Marketplace. The event begins at 7 p.m. and runs until 9 p.m.

Residents can also participate in the "Operation Hunger" grand prize raffle, with all net proceeds benefiting the Morristown Rotary Club's supported charities and service projects.

The Morristown Rotary Club, which was founded on May 1, 1922, has donated countless volunteer hours to community projects, including raising funds for 50,000 meals for seniors and others in need during the pandemic. Every month, the club runs a homeless veteran program in which they assist veterans in transitional housing at the Lyons VA campus.
