MORRIS TOWNSHIP, NJ — The Morris Township Police Department is partnering with the Morris Township Fire Department and Parks and Recreation to host a Trunk or Treat event.

Trunk or Treat will take place on Oct. 29 at 1 p.m. at Dwyer Lane and will be followed by a movie night at Ginty Field where 'The Addams Family 2' will be screened as soon as the sun sets.

Trunk-or-treating is a simple concept. Instead of going from house to house, children collect candy from festively decorated vehicles. It's often regarded as a safer alternative to trick-or-treating, and its popularity has grown across the country in recent years.
