Teacher’s Aide Force-Fed Hot Sauce To Autistic Student As Punishment: Report
The allegations stem from a Facebook post from one of the school's substitute teachers, according to the report.
PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ — A teacher’s aide is in hot water after being accused of using hot sauce to punish at least one autistic student, 6, in her Paterson classroom, according to reports.
The allegations stem from a Dec. 22 Facebook post from Dale Avenue School substitute teacher Kenya Hilton. Hilton said the teacher of ten autistic students was “putting hot sauce in the students’ mouths as discipline for their behavior.”
According to a report from News12, Quasheema Frye was told by the school principal that her son, Lamond, who is non-verbal, was given the hot sauce in the classroom.
