Twin Brooks Kennel Club Dog Show To Return To Morristown

The event is offering tours for kids and parents to learn the ins and outs of dog shows.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Those fond of furry friends have a great opportunity to see some at the upcoming Twin Brooks Kennel Club Dog Show here in Morristown.

Next week, the Twin Brooks Kennel Club Dog Show will return to the Mennen Sports Arena. The event takes place on Sunday, July 13, and Monday, July 14, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The all-breed dog show will not only display some impressive canines, but also offer tours for families.

According to Twin Brooks Kennel Club representatives, the tours are designed for participants to:

  • Learn how dog shows work
  • Discover fun sports and activities they can do with their own dog
  • Meet a wide variety of breeds
  • Cheer on their favorites in the ring


Additionally, there will be a special Junior Handling Clinic hosted by ShowSafe at noon on Sunday for young, aspiring dog handlers. The competition, held in Ring Six, is open to anyone between the ages of 9 and 18. The session includes hands-on instruction, a presentation, and lunch, according to representatives.

“As one of the oldest American Kennel Club-sanctioned clubs on the East Coast, Twin Brooks Kennel Club is proud to host the only indoor summer dog show in the region with air conditioning—making it a comfortable experience for spectators and dogs alike,” a statement read. “Admission and parking are free, and spectators are encouraged to come enjoy the action and support these incredible canine athletes and their handlers.”
