Seven Freeholder candidates, two Sheriff candidates sparred in forum Monday night.

A hotly-contested June Republican Primary Election is being met with vigor and debate in Morris County, and nine men and women stepped to the plate this week to have their voices heard.
Seven candidates, including three incumbents for Morris County Freeholder sparred over county issues at the debate held at The Chandelier at Flanders Valley Monday, May 9.
The candidates are Doug Cabana (incumbent), Kathy DeFillippo (incumbent), Roman Hirniak, Peter King, John Krickus, Tom Mastrangelo (incumbent), and Louis Valori.
The same went for two men vying for Morris County Sheriff. Both John Sierchio and Jim Gannon are looking to fill the spot being vacated by decades-long Sheriff Ed Rochford this year.
