MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — Like many police officers around the country, Tim works hard, and enjoys his time off. The difference between Tim and his coworkers is that Tim is a 2-year-old pup.

The Dutch Shepherd works with K-9 Unit Detective Marc Adamsky. Between jobs, Tim and Adamsky like to unwind together with a game of Frisbee.

It's fun, but it's not all games. Playing catch with the police pups helps keep them active on the days they sit in the truck for long hours, K-9 Unit Detective Mike Carbone says. This helps allow them to come into work while still getting out their dog energy, and keeps the dogs in good working shape.
