Woman, 33, Found Dead In Morris County Lake
The victim was pulled from the lake after swimmers noticed her "unresponsive" in the water.
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — A woman was found dead in a local lake over the weekend, the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office said.
First responders were called out to Cedar Lake Beach in Denville on Sunday shortly before 6 p.m. after swimmers reported an “unresponsive” person in the water, according to officials.

Authorities said that police and rescue officials pulled out the person, a 33-year-old woman, and took her to a local hospital for treatment. She was pronounced dead at the hospital, officials said.
Officials said that a post-mortem examination will be conducted by the Morris County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office added that no foul play is suspected at this time.
Officials have not released the name of the deceased at this time.
The incident is currently under investigation by Denville Police and the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, authorities said.
In April, a 55-year-old man's kayak flipped, causing him to drown in the same area.
