2-Year-Old Boy Dies After Falling 20 Stories In Newark: Reports

NEWARK, NJ — A 2-year-old boy died Saturday when he fell from a 20th-story window in Newark, according to reports citing the Essex County Prosecutor's Office.

Police said the incident happened around 7 a.m. at 455 Elizabeth Ave., ABC7 reported, the address of the Elizabeth Towers in Newark.

The boy, whom officials did not identify, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to NJ Advance Media.

The incident remains under investigation by Newark Public Safety and the Essex County Prosecutor's Office, reports said.
