A reward up to $5,000 is being offered for the apprehension of a third man wanted for the killing of a Newark college student in December.
While two men have already been charged in the death of Reginald Terry, 18, the Essex County Prosecutor's Office Homicide/Major Crimes Task Force seeks help identifying a third man wanted in the shooting.
The man is seen in the photo released Tuesday exiting the building at 260 Washington St. that's known as the Loft, the prosecutor's office said. The person is described as light-skinned black male who is about 5-foot-4 or 5-foot-5, the prosecutor's office said.
Terry was gunned down at about 1:15 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21 during an altercation near Washington and Market streets, the prosecutor's office said.
Newark residents Damiar Pendergrass, 18, and Raquan Langford, 19, have already been arrested and charged with murder, conspiracy, possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. The two men are each being held at the Essex County Correctional Facility in lieu of $750,000 bail.
