Another building in Newark is opening applications for affordable housing, city officials announced this week.

NEWARK, NJ — Another building in Newark is opening applications for affordable housing, city officials announced earlier this week.

There will be 11 apartments available at Vida by Gomes, 34-40 Hudson Street. They include nine 1-bedroom/one-bath units, and two 2-bedroom/2-bathroom units. Sizes range from 602 to 1137 square feet.

  • 1 BR – $753 to $1,776
  • 2 BR – $897 to $1,510

Interested applicants can apply online here to be entered into a random selection process, or contact admin@acuitytoday.com or (551) 296-7770. The deadline to apply is Nov. 7, 2025.
