Alternate Side of the Street Parking Suspended Tuesday

Street cleaning suspended due to snow and ice

The city of Newark is suspending alternate side of the street parking Tuesday, city hall announced late Monday.

The city is also suspending normally scheduled street-sweeping due to snow and ice still on the streets following last week’s snowstorm.

Regular garbage and recycling collections will resume Tuesday, and residents whose trash and recycling are picked up that day must place their refuse and recycling at their curbs for pickup by 6 a.m.
