The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office today released the accompanying composite sketch of a woman whose dead body washed up in a suitcase along the Passaic River in Newark March 5.
Anyone who might be able to identify the woman is asked to contact the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office homicide tips line at 1-877-847-7432.
The unidentified woman is black, has a very small frame and was dressed in gray slacks and a red blouse. The body was completely intact when it was recovered earlier this month by detectives in the vicinity of Van Buren Street and Raymond Boulevard.
Attempts to identify the woman using her fingerprints have been unsuccessful.
