Bank Offering Free Museum Admission to Cardholders this Weekend

Bank of America and Merrill Lynch are providing free admission for cardholders to museums across the country -- including two in Newark and several others in the region -- this weekend, Aug. 3 and 4.

The “Museums on Us” program is open to anyone who has a debit or credit card with the companies. Aljira, a Center for Contemporary Art (open Saturdays only), 591 Broad St., and the Newark Museum, 49 Washington St.

To take advantage of the offer,  present your Bank of America or Merrill Lynch credit or debit card along with a photo ID to gain free general admission to any participating institution. The offer is for cardholders only, not guests.  The program excludes fundraising events, special exhibitions and ticketed shows sponsored by the museum.
