Local woman competing to become 'face' of salon in charity event
A salon and spa in Montclair is sponsoring a unique contest in which the public can vote for the “face” of the business. One of the contestants is Reyna Ramos of Newark.
Bangz Salon and Wellness Spa, 23 S. Fullerton Ave. in Montclair, is seeking a woman committed to charity and community involvement to serve as the public face of Bangz for 2013. Ramos is among 10 semi-finalists selected from hundreds of applicants who will be voted on by members of the public. To cast your vote for Reyna or another contestant, visit www.bangz.net. Online voting closes March 18.
The five top vote-getters will then compete live at Bangz on April 22. The winner will have $500 donated to the charity of her choice and will also receive $1,500 in treatments.
An aspiring model and actress, Ramos’s charity is Cancer Care of New Jersey.
