Companies Tip Cap To Truck Drivers At Newark Giveaway Event
A recent event in New Jersey thanked the truck drivers who make sure the "cold chain" is running smoothly: day-in and day-out.
NEWARK, NJ — New Jersey’s grocery stores would be in a world of trouble without the “cold chain” that keeps them stocked and supplied, and a recent event in Newark sought to tip a cap to the truck drivers who make sure it’s running smoothly: day-in and day-out.
As part of Truck Driver Appreciation Week, cold storage provider Lineage partnered with frozen fruit purveyor TruFru to celebrate truck drivers at its Newark facility.
