Attention kite enthusiasts: on Saturday, May 4 beginning at 12:30 pm, there will be a kite-flying event at Weequahic Park. The family event, entitled “Let’s Fly Some Kites with Our KIds,” is open to families free of charge.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own kites as well as to donate kites for other children.
The event will be held near the Meeker Avenue entrance and registration will take place next to the field house. Rain date is May 13.
