Fire Routs Families From 4 Newark Buildings, Injures Firefighters: Reports
Two firefighters were injured and dozens of residents were left homeless after a fire swept through 4 buildings in Newark, reports said.
NEWARK, NJ — At least 65 people were displaced by a fire that spread through four buildings in Newark early Sunday morning, reports said.
Firefighters rushed to the 4-alarm blaze on Woodside Avenue around 1:15 a.m., said News 12. First responders worked until 6 a.m. to bring the blaze under control.
The fire impacted 181-183 Woodside as well as 185, 187 and 189, according to reports.

Two firefighters were injured: A fire captain who was treated at University Hospital for a head injury, and a firefighter who fell, but both were released. The arson unit is investigating, reports said. Read more here.
