Industrial Property Trades Ownership On Hawthorne Avenue In Irvington

There's a limited amount of "industrial/flex space" on the market in Essex County – and some of it just sold to a new owner, a firm says.

IRVINGTON, NJ — There’s a limited amount of “industrial/flex space” on the market in Essex County – and some of it just sold to a new owner in Irvington, a New Jersey real estate firm says.

On Thursday, NAI James E. Hanson announced that it has negotiated the sale of a 10,878-square-foot industrial/flex property located at 592 Hawthorne Avenue in Irvington.

According to a news release from NAI James E. Hanson, 592 Hawthorne Avenue combines 9,682 square feet of industrial/warehouse space with 958 square feet of office space. The property features 12-foot clear ceiling heights, three drive-ins, 400 amp/250 volt/three phase power and 10 onsite parking spaces.

The seller is the Haenssler Realty Corporation, and the buyer is Irvington Industrial LLC. The purchase price wasn’t disclosed in the firm’s news release.

Irvington Industrial LLC plans to use the building to support its manufacturing and distribution operations, the firm said.

“With the limited supply of available industrial/flex space in the Essex County market, 592 Hawthorne Avenue presented Irvington Industrial with a unique opportunity to secure an ideally located and adaptable property able to support its strategic business goals,” Justin Allessio of NAI James E.
