Live Music, Food Trucks, More at Harrison’s Riverbend District Block Party and Artisan Market on 9/13

A fun-filled day of music, dance, food and shopping is on tap for Saturday, September 13th when Harrison, NJ’s Riverbend District hosts its annual fall Block Party and Artisan Market. The free public event will take place from 12 PM to 5 PM in the neighborhood’s outdoor pocket park at 1200 South 5th Street.

Headlining the entertainment are Brick City Collective which will bring soul and R & B music to the stage at 1 PM; and Grupo K'Ndela, which will take the stage at 3:30 PM with its brand of Salsa rhythms and energetic beats. Dance enthusiasts can join a salsa lesson at 3:30 PM with Salsa Fever On2 to get into the groove.

As the music plays, attendees can explore an array of food trucks offering delicious eats or browse through the artisan market featuring a curated selection of handmade goods, including art, photography, jewelry, fashion, home and lifestyle accessories, beauty products, artisanal foods, pet items, and more. Also making an appearance at the market is Keepers, a new culinary concept in the Riverbend District. Located in The Wyldes rental building, the restaurant and café offer dining, as well as craft cocktails and a curated selection of local beers.
