
Four players from Newark high schools have been nominated for the McDonald’s All-American Games, the company announced Thursday.
More than 800 students nationally have been selected for the games nationwide, including 22 in the New York tri-state area.
The local students, three boys and a girl, have been nominated for the basketball team.
Tyler Ennis, Michael Young and Isaiah Watkins of St. Benedict’s Prep were selected for the boys team, and Dawn Green, a student at Essex County Vo-Tech, has been selected for the girls squad.
