Man in Critical Condition Following Shooting

Police responded to 64 Willoughby St. Saturday morning on a report of a shooting, a department spokesman said.

The unidentified male victim was found with gunshot wounds to the torso and extremities around 1 am. He was rusehd to UMDNJ, where he is in critical but stable condition.

Police are searching for suspects.

This is the latest shooting in a bloody stretch of gun violence since Thursday, when a city man was shot. A few hours later, a gunman opened fire on S. 16th Street, wounding five people. Also, early Friday morning, a man was shot and killed. The victim in that incident has not yet been identified.
