Meet Marvin, Newark Patch’s Pet of the Week. Marvin is an incredibly cute and sweet little 25-plus lb. two-year-old wire hair mixed breed dog. Marvin lets you pick him up and hold him like a baby. He walks nicely on the lead and is more than thrilled with being a pet and scratched from head to tail. He lets you check his paws, his ears and his teeth (which are pearly white!). He is a playful and happy puppy, who can also calm down and lie at your feet. Marvin has a great personality and loves to play with and share toys. He takes treats very gently and has no issues sharing his food or his bowl while he eats. In general, Marvin is a wonderful people-focused playful young dog who would make a wonderful family companion.
If you think Marvin would be the perfect addition to your family, contact Associated Humane Societies’ Newark shelter with his ID # (121504). The shelter is located at 124 Evergreen Ave. in Newark.
