Newark Cops Arrest Several Assault Suspects During Warrant Roundup
Three of the suspects have been charged with robbery, and one was wanted in connection with a carjacking, Newark police said.

NEWARK, NJ — Newark police recently arrested several people who have outstanding warrants for allegedly committing aggravated assault and other violent crimes.
According to the Newark Department of Public Safety, the arrests were made in October. The list of arrestees and charges include:
- Rolondo Colon, 26, of Newark, was arrested on October 15. He was wanted for carjacking, aggravated assault, conspiracy, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
- Miguel A. DeJesus, 33, of Newark, was arrested on October 24. He was sought on a warrant for robbery, aggravated assault, two counts of conspiracy, and a previous Newark warrant.
- Travis L. Kelley, 50, of Paterson, was arrested on October 2. He faces charges of aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, terroristic threats, and certain persons prohibited from weapon possession.
- Ali M. Davis, 30, of Delanco, NJ, was arrested on October 20. He faces charges of aggravated assault, unlawful possession of weapon, and certain persons prohibited from weapon possession.
- Rahmon N. Johnson, 28, of Newark, was arrested on October 22. He faces charges of aggravated assault and terroristic threats.
- Henry D. Vaden, 21, of Newark, was arrested on October 24. He was wanted for aggravated assault, robbery, terroristic threats, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
- Nasir Q. Stanley, 22, of Newark, was arrested on October 27. He was being sought on charges of aggravated assault, harassment, and robbery.
- Tyonn S. Street, 25, of Plainfield, was arrested on October 27. He was wanted for three counts of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, obstruction of the administration of the law, two counts of unlawful possession of a weapon, criminal mischief, and resisting arrest.
- Zahir Muhammad, 27, of Newark, was arrested on October 29. He faces charges of aggravated assault and simple assault.
