Newark Resident Wanted in Fatal Bloomfield Shooting
Belleville man killed early Saturday
Law enforcement officials believe a Newark man was responsible the fatal shooting of a Belleville man in Bloomfield Saturday.
Acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn A. Murray and Bloomfield Police Chief Christopher Goul announced Monday that arrest warrants have been issued for Marcelus Tonic, 25.
Tonic is wanted for the murder of 24-year-old Ron E. Jean of Belleville. Jean was fatally shot April 27 at approximately 3:30 a.m. on Beardsley Avenue in Bloomfield and was pronounced dead at 4:06 a.m.
