Newark NJ Turnpike Crash Prompts Delays Thursday Morning: DOT

NEWARK, NJ - A motor vehicle crash on the New Jersey Turnpike in Newark has prompted commuting delays in the area Thursday morning, authorities said.

As of 5:29 a.m., there’s a crash on the New Jersey Turnpike outer roadway southbound Interchange 14 - I-7y8/US 1&9 in Newark, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

All lanes are currently open, the agency said.
