Newark Store Sells $150K Lottery Ticket

A ticket good for a prize of $155,490 was sold at a Newark supermarket, state lottery officials reported.

The Jersey Cash 5 ticket, for the Monday drawing, was sold at the New Sol Brilliante market, with the following winning nuimbers: 06,17,27,28 and 29.  

One winning Jersey Cash 5 ticket worth $155,490 was sold in Essex County for the Monday, December 16 drawing.  That Essex County winning ticket was sold at New Sol Brillante Supermarket, 797 Broadway, Newark.

Over the summer, winning lottery tickets good for about $630,000 and $250,000 were sold at two other city businesses a few weeks apart.
