Newark Will Celebrate 'National Night Out' With Food And Fun: 2025 Summer Events
The annual event helps to foster connections between police and the public.
NEWARK, NJ — A free “National Night Out” celebration will return in Newark on Tuesday, Aug. 5.
The annual event is scheduled to take place from 2 to 8 p.m. at West Side Park (17th Avenue and 17th Street). It will include free food, music, bouncy rides, and other "fun and informative activities for both children and adults."
Admission is free and the public is invited.

National Night Out is an annual crime and drug prevention awareness event endorsed by the National Association of Town Watch. It is designed to generate support for and participation in local anti-crime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit, and foster police-community partnerships.
