Newark Zoning Board OKs Plans For 6-Story Apartment Building

A plan to build a six-story building with apartments and retail space has been approved in the city's Central Ward.

NEWARK, NJ — Newark’s zoning board has cleared the way for developers to build a six-story building with apartments and retail space in the city’s Central Ward.

The board approved an application to develop multiple properties at 348-370 Morris Avenue at their Nov. 16 meeting. The plan includes creating 178 new residences, 1,700 square feet of retail space on the ground floor and 89 parking spaces.
