NJ-29 Assembly Election Results: Pintor Marin, Speight Win, AP Projects
Candidates included Eliana Pintor Marin, Shanique Speight, Daniela Almeida and Noble Minton.

UPDATE: The Associated Press has projected that Eliana Pintor Marin and Shanique Speight are the winners of the New Jersey Assembly race in District 29. The results remain uncertified; 95 percent of the votes were counted as of 10:07 p.m. on Nov. 4.
Election Day has arrived for New Jersey voters, including residents of the 29th Legislative district.
On Tuesday, Garden State residents went to the polls to vote for two New Jersey Assembly seats in the 29th district, which includes the municipalities of East Newark, Harrison and Newark.

Candidates included Eliana Pintor Marin (Democrat), Shanique Speight (Democrat), Daniela Almeida (Republican) and Noble Minton (Republican).

With 95 percent of the votes counted, here are the unofficial results from the Associated Press:
- Eliana Pintor Marin – 23,200 votes (42.2%)
- Shanique Speight – 23,036 votes (41.9%)
- Daniela Almeida – 4,518 votes (8.2%)
- Noble Minton – 4,246 votes (7.7%)
