NJ Man Dies After Leaving Vehicle Following GSP Crash: Police
A Passaic County man died in a weekend crash after leaving his vehicle, which was stuck in the center lane of the Garden State Parkway.
IRVINGTON, NJ - A Little Falls man died in a Saturday morning crash on the Garden State Parkway in Irvington, authorities said.
The crash occurred at around 1:37 a.m. on the Garden State Parkway southbound near milepost 144.2, a New Jersey State Police spokesman told Patch.
An initial investigation found that a Chevrolet Corvette was involved in a single-vehicle crash and became disabled in the center lane of the parkway, state police said.

The driver of the Chevrolet, Mark Terpak, 60, left the vehicle and was struck by a Lexus NX3. He sustained fatal injuries, police said.
The driver of the Lexus was not injured, police added.
All southbound lanes were closed for around four hours, police said. The crash investigation is ongoing.
