Peshine Students Get a Literary Lift
Children's publisher, other groups team up to offer donation
Newark Public Schools’ BRICK Peshine Avenue School students chose three books to add to their home collections Wednesday, thanks to My Very Own Library and the Foundation for Newark’s Future in partnership with Scholastic Book Fairs. Twenty-three schools participated in the event, resulting in more than 12,000 students with new books to read.
