NEWARK, NJ — Plans for a 45-story residential skyscraper at 571 Broad Street have been approved by the Newark Office of Planning and Zoning, a report says.

The building, which has been dubbed the “Arc Tower,” will top out at 520 feet above ground, making it Newark’s tallest structure. It will include more than 300 residential apartments, 1,800 square feet of ground-floor retail space, and a public plaza in front of the building, New York YIMBY reported Thursday.

The proposal was drawn up by New York-based INOA Architecture, which has designed several other high-profile projects in Newark, Jersey Digs previously reported.
