Range Rover Taken in 'Bump and Run' Theft

Victim, 62, was at Newark Liberty International Airport

Thieves employed a “bump and run” technique to steal a Range Rover from a 62-year-old woman Friday at Newark Liberty International Airport, NJ.com reported.

The victim was in the vehicle around 10 pm near Terminal B when it was struck by a white GMC Suburban. When the woman pulled over to investigate, someone in the Suburban entered the Range Rover and sped off, with the Suburban following.

This summer State Police issued an advisory to motorists on I-78 about “bump and run” auto thefts after several vehicles were taken following intentional low-speed collisions.
