Ringling Bros. is Back in Newark
Performers appear at city hall, Beth Israel this week

Performers from Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus joined staff from Newark Beth Israel Children’s Hospital and Jeff Vanderbeek, chairman of Devils Arena Entertainment, at the unveiling of the hospital’s newly renovated waiting room at the hospital’s pediatric center Feb. 27. The waiting room’s new decor has a circus theme inspired by the Ringling Bros. 2013 show, “Built to Amaze.”
On Thursday, circus performers also put on a show at Newark City Hall to mark this year’s return of Ringling Bros. to Newark. The popular circus is performing at the Prudential Center through March 3 and at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford March 6 through the 10th.
