Section of Mulberry to be Closed for Graduations This Week
Area near Prudential Center affected Monday, Wednesday and Friday
The city of Newark has announced that Mulberry Street between Edison Place and Lafayette Street will be closed on the following dates and times: Monday, May 20, from 7 to 11 am; Wednesday, May 22, from 7 to 11 am; and Friday, May 24, from 7 to 11 am.
The closures are in place to accommodate three graduation ceremonies being held at the Prudential Center: New Jersey Institute of Technology on Monday, May 22; Essex County College on Wednesday, May 22; and Seton Hall Law School on Friday, May 24.

Motorists are urged to take alternate routes and allow additional time to reach their destinations while these closures are in effect.
