South Ward Coat Giveaway Planned for Saturday

Newark Municipal Council candidate Brian Logan and mayoral candidate Anibal Ramos are sponsoring a coat giveaway Sat., Dec. 7 from 12 to 4 pm at the candidates’ campaign headquarters, 1068 Bergen St.

The coats were donated by local businesses, nonprofits, churches and other organizations, who were asked to contribute gently used garments in good condition.

"Giving back to our community is a priority for me, especially during the holiday season when so many are in need," said Logan. "We are thrilled to kick off the First Annual "To Whom Much is Given....Much is Required," South Ward Coat Giveaway.”
