Star NFL Quarterback Says He Saw UFO Over New Jersey

The Green Bay Packers' Aaron Rodgers went there in a podcast posted Wednesday.

The Green Bay Packers' Aaron Rodgers has seen some things, man.

More specifically: a UFO in New Jersey.

Rodgers, the Super Bowl-winning quarterback, joined the "You Made It Weird" podcast with Pete Holmes, which was posted Wednesday, and the two talked about football, religion and burgers.

But the best part comes as Rodgers details a trip he made to the Garden State while he was a quarterback at Cal, during which Rodgers says he and a teammate definitely saw a UFO.

In 2005, Rodgers says, he was visiting fellow Cal quarterback Steve Levy's family in Jersey as part of a trip to New York City. (He didn't say specifically where in the state they were.)

Around midnight, they heard sirens and went outside.

"It was a large orange, left-to-right-moving object," Rodgers said. "Because of the overcast nature of the night and the snow, you couldn’t make out — it was behind the clouds we were seeing, but it was definitively large, moving from left to right. It was me, Steve and his brother that saw it. And it goes out of sight and we look at each other and go, ‘What in the f*** was that?'”

Rodgers was not done.

“You could hear it moving,” he said. And about 30 seconds after it went out of sight, they heard a sound "that a fighter jet makes when it flies by.”

Rodgers, apparently a UFO expert, said there are two things associated with UFO sightings:

  1. The presence of fighter jets, which "chase them down, check out what’s going on," he said.
  2. Their proximity to nuclear power plants, one of which Rodgers says they were near that night.

And, "In typical fashion, there was no mention of it the next day," in the media.

Keep your eyes peeled, New Jersey.
