Three Arrested On Burglary, Theft Warrants In Newark​

One woman is accused of taking more than $13,000 from the cash register where she worked.

NEWARK, NJ — Three people wanted on warrants were arrested Wednesday in Newark, police said.

In a news release, police said two suspects are accused of burglary and another of theft.

Rashawn Rushing, 36, of Newark, is suspected of commercial burglary at the Auto Mall on Elizabeth Avenue on Aug. 11.

Virgil Green, 55, of Newark, was arrested on suspicion of residential burglary related to an incident that happened on July 18 in the 300 block of Madison Avenue.

Monaa Barnes, 18, of Newark, is suspected of taking $13,837 from a cash register at the Springfield Avenue Home Depot store where she worked.
