Two City Men Face Weapons, Other Charges
Accused were barred from possessing firearms, police say

Two city men who were prohibited from possessing firearms due to prior felony convictions were arrested in the last few days on weapons charges, Sgt. Ronald Glover of the Newark Police Department said.
Shortly after 8 pm on Friday, police responded to a disorderly persons call at 84 Munn Ave. and arrested Naim Rassoull, 38, who was in possession of a stolen .38-caliber handgun, Glover said. A second person was arrested in the same incident for trespassing.
Around 7 am Monday, a traffic stop led to the arrest of 32-year-old Anibal Santiago. Santiago, who Glover said was double-parked near 23 Brunswick Ave., was arrested after police allegedly found him in possession of drug paraphernalia and a loaded .380-caliber handgun.
